Yoga Teacher

Hi I’m Olga, I’m mum to 4 kids. I’ve been a stay at home mum for the last 10 years. So I understand how important it is to create some time for social connection in a busy mums week. When I worked outside the home It was as an engineering technician, so I’m very practical, hands on and used to thinking on my feet. I believe movement is essential to our physical and mental well-being. No matter what level physically you are at I will meet you there & customise my yoga lessons to make them accessible for you.

I really enjoy Olga’s over 55 class. She is an excellent teacher who structures her class to suit her clients. Her warm personality always makes you feel welcome and I look forward to her class. I would highly recommend her class.

Pilates Teacher

Tracy is a hairdresser, originally from Co Fermanagh. She has 3 lads, much bigger than her and 2 dogs, much smaller than her. She has been practicing Pilates for 10+ years and finds it highly effective for easing the tension in her back, neck and shoulders after working on her feet all day.
Tracy is now a qualified as a classical mat Pilates teacher. She enjoys teaching in small groups or on a one to one basis and has experienced first-hand the positive impact that Pilates can have on her clients’ posture, body awareness and sense of wellbeing. Whatever your age, skill level or time commitment, you will be welcome in Tracy’s classes, and don’t be afraid to be a beginner, nobody starts off as an expert.

I go to Tracy Valentine’s class and she give’s brilliant individual attention and focus to everyone’s needs. Tracy is patient and kind and such a wonderful teacher. I could see and feel the difference in my core after just a couple of sessions. It has to be the fastest hour., the time flies. I love it.

Yin Yoga Teacher

Hi, I’m Gabrielle. I’m a múinteoir Gaeilge, originally from Athlone, I moved to Ballinderreen in 2021.
I started practicing yoga when I was 21 as a way to get out of my head and over the past 15 years I’ve made my mat my home, no matter where I am in the world! I trained as a vinyasa yoga teacher in Bali in 2018 and started teaching straight away when I then returned to Athlone after living in Australia. I’ve been focusing on Yin recently, and I love the balance it brings to my days. Yoga has been really important to me throughout my life as a way to understand myself and also build a community. The Yoga Lounge is a special place and it’s our growing community that makes it!

I love yin yoga with Gabrielle on a Wednesday evening. It’s an excellent stress reliever mid week and I feel so relaxed afterwards. The stretches are only as difficult as you want them to be so suitable for anyone. I’m not good at yoga but I thoroughly enjoy this class !!
